Zoning Office

Zoning permits are needed for dwellings, additions, garages, all sheds, pools, hot tubs, ground solar, fences, walls, roadside stands, home occupations, signs, and more. Please check with the zoning office for details when adding to your property. The zoning officer is responsible for enforcement of all township ordinances pertaining to building and property maintenance, in addition to inspections, to ensure codes are met. UPT ordinance requires a COC (Certificate of Compliance) on residential/commercial rental properties whenever occupants change; therefore, a new COC is required prior to the sale of the property.
